這是美國發燒唱片公司Classic Recordso為Decca經典錄音重新製版推出的CD，Oistrakh技藝之高已毋容置疑，而以碟中小提琴音色為准，這差不多是Oistrakh錄音之中音效最佳者，奧伊斯特拉赫(Oistrakh)在此拉奏世紀名琴Stradivari"fontana"，音色鮮豔奪目，以較近距離錄取，琴身擺動較大，樂聲細節也較多，聽起來自有一番魅力。
